So Lucky

In the summer holidays, we booked up at 'The Drayton Manor Hotel'.  It was such a rainy, cold day and the relief of getting back to our room after 8 hours of rides was immense!

The room was really nice, with a spectacular view over the forest and acres of land.  The kids spent their time on the wooden play ground:

We treated ourselves to a really marvellous 3 course meal, which was a lovely 'grown up' experience with the kids.  The butternut squash risotto starter was to die for:

The pics are obviously so blurry because I was ravenous ;)

The following day was spent mainly in Thomas Land, which all three kids enjoyed, despite Logans ever increasing maturity (stop growing!!!)

Where Logan won on the lobster pot game! I was so chuffed.. i've never seen anyone win on one of these!

(Sorry for the curious black line there.. i'll be damned if i'm re-opening software to fix it!)

And that was our mini break away :)

Loving Thomas the Tank Engine layout, very colourful. I had a little lad that was mad on Thomas once, and then he grew up! lol
Beautiful Mel, as usual! x
