Saturday 22nd March - Easter Eve

Well today is Easter eve and I did the stupid thing of going out shopping to Asda. Logan has only had one accident in about 2 months now regarding toilet training and i'm so super proud! Asda was so busy and I just wanted to get home as the wind was seriously blowing a gale I could barely breathe!

When I got home it started to snow outside in big thick white flakes. It instantly stuck and I got so excited thinking we could have a snow fight like we have the past two years running.. but no.. NADA! Ten minutes of promising snow and then out cracked the blue skies (behind grey clouds) and bright sunshine. DAMN YOU mr. Sunshine!

I was trying to think of something different today for the kids dinner so I made noodles with mushrooms and chicken. They soon got over the novelty and found it amazing to build castles with whilst I wasnt looking.. using a drawer from my stash storage! I love my kids..

Logan can now finally go to the toilet by himself and put on his pants by himself. I am so happy YAY! But bless him.. look at how he has put his pants on!! And to think they started life off this morning as boxers! He has gota thing about these comic strip boxers at the moment. No matter what I put on him he will come downstairs in these!

Friday 21st March

I think we are going back in time here but hey.. I haven't had time to post the real stuff lately so I am just going to post as if it was the day of the title. Because it's my blog. And because I can.

Today was a nice family day. After nap time we had a big play and Emily wanted to unleash the paint so I had them out whilst Logan lied on the bed playing a marble madness game on the 360. He was lying on the bed the exact same way his daddy does. I wish I had caught a photo!

Once we had finished they asked if we could clean out Sportacus and I LOVE it when they think of something they would like to do so out came the hamster! My camera went a bit mental and wouldnt take a decent photo of the hamster but I did catch these two!:

I think it is absolutely amazing that when we first had Sportacus he was pure white!

Sportacus is the chinese dwarf hamster that Emily had for her birthday. He changes colour if he has more then 16 hours of solid day or night. I have never seen anything move so fast in my life so he is strictly in cage petting only!! I didnt know anything about dwarve hamsters because when I was younger, you kind of don't question those sort of things! I picked up a book and apparentely they need adapted lifestyles! I had to change his rotastack so there was nothing too big for him to fall out or climb up and also I bought a miniature ball for him to run in. I had no idea they had to have different ones!

After the hamster we made pizza. This is Emilys new thing. She loves to grab a tortilla and make pizza with mommy. I kind of pop another tortilla on top otherwise they get fussy looking at the veg so really it's a qaesadilla! I really enjoy spending the one on one time and making something. It makes me feel like the worlds best mom.

I had a call today from the council to tell me that they would like to offer me a house but unfortunately it doesn't meet up to Lee's needs so they can't give it us. Thanks for letting us know! I've been on the waiting list a year just to hear that!

Oh well.. I can but wait!

And seriously.. That was it. I was laughing my head off. It's been five crazy years and this man makes me laugh hysterically still. He still makes my heart race and when he is gone.... all the way into the room next door.. I miss him! Five years already. Where does the time go.

I was talking to Chris last night, making a fool of myself on the webcam and I was in a dilemma. I have been thinking recentely about scrapbooking, Alot. I have so much stash that even if I made scrapbook pages with everything, they would fill the room from floor to ceiling. Thats ALOT of space to be taking up. I'd be taking the space up with the best thing in the world, my love and my memories, but surely with all the money I spend I could be taking better care of myself and in turn feel good. I could get some new clothes so I dont have to hunt around for one of the two pairs of knickers I own that still fits! And the space.. the clutter I am passing on to my children one day.. The whole point of scrapbooking is that I want to get my memories down. Couldnt I do this by writing it on the back of a photo?? Have really nice photo albums and whenever the children want to know about a photo they pull it out and read?

HELP!

I'm going rusty..

If I could have forseen this month I would have told the evil witch to stick her crystal ball up her bottom and try again. With everything that happened with SI I have been totally stoked. Then out of the blue yesterday I get a PM from someone who I adore, Beckie Dreyer. She loves my "Pirate Princess" layout and has chosen me to send her Rusty Pickle RAK to. Out of everyone.. ME!! This is a woman who's work I adore. Totally honoured and gushing :)

I really have to get some crafting done. I'm seriously going rusty. I keep saying that I will do some every night but with all the pc troubles I have been having it has been near impossible. I seem to get sucked into trying to fix the PC and then procrastinating on the internet. SIGH.

I want to send some kind of blog prayer magic to two friends. TL and Wendy. I love you guys and at the moment your lives are tough. Hoping things get easier soon x

Another boring day :D

Finished my layout for SI and it was so scary being under so much pressure. I do tons of scrapping every week and sometimes I just don't show it off. There are so many pages that didn't go how my mind imagined and I was scared incase this was one of them!

I have been playing about with photographs and learning new techniques. I made this one all by myself, no masks or overlays or filters, just me and PSP!

Went to see National Treasure 2 yesterday and it was one of those times where the cinema was empty and we sat in the premier seats with nachos YAY! I found the film hilarious and it was definitely worth a watch. I fell asleep during the first one!

Will try and get something crafty done today and upload later :)

A Dora sun shade ripped off the window and threw into the abyss that is my kids mess! They find it impossible to go to the car without taking something! And the kids car seats which reminds me I AM A MOMMY!! Still a great feeling after three years :)

I really don't remember! I was a good while ago though!

I never buy new clothes but they had a crazy sale at Tescos so I got some grey trousers with embroidery up the leg, some black jeans and a blue top. The clothes are ok, the food IS NOT!

Mixed Emotions But Could Be Worse!

I was having the most amazing day yesterday then I trod on a mirror and broke it. Now I find myself in constant doubt of everything and being paranoid! What is that about? I dunno..

Lets start with the bad stuff to get it out of the way!

Yesterday I ordered a massive Tesco shop for the month. When it came the meat was missing so I rang and complained. They apologised and organised re-delivery for today. The day my wonderful son finally let go of the sidelines and swam! (Sorry proud mother moment) So what comes to my door.. THE WHOLE ORDER again!! Who sounds totally annoyed that her bank has been debited £96 that she hasn't got.. My sister (Whos card I borrowed)! Can you believe they did this?? So she calls them and they say they don't believe the meat never came yesterday (because seriously.. I really want 2 months worth of meat don't I?) and they will come tomorrow to get the whole order and refund it back. The order that is now all neatly put away. The order that will take 7 days to get back to my sisters card. I don't appreciate being made out to be a liar and I certainly don't appreciate Tesco. I knew from past experience not to shop with them and I went and did it again! NEVER AGAIN!

AND MY STRAWBERRIES WERE MOULDY :(

Anyway the good?

I had an email from the lovely Shimelle yesterday asking if I would like to submit something for the "my favourite layout" section at the back of the mag. It was a pretty standard email which I guessed she had hit send to 2000 people. I had just finished working on a layout so I send it off and get a reply saying this is definitely what they could use and I will get paid for it too! Wow.. Totally stoked to say the least. I have gone from half a page to a full page! Anyway.. 2 minutes later Shim mails me again. "Actually, I think you'd be perfect for the ready, steady, scrap! challenge would you be up for it? It's paid and you get a free kit"..

How do I reply without sounding like a kid who got EVERYTHING they wanted for christmas and a Mr Frosty just for good measure.. !!

I am so pleased. So happy. I know it's nothing big. Its a break from scrapping just for me in my own comfort zone. It's a kick up the bottom. It's just.. WOW.. Me???

Somebody wants my work and that is an amazing feeling.

Just wanted to share my days events and hope you had a lovely time today too.

On the flip side.. My tiredness has come back and I have been falling to sleep in random places.. Sigh. It is so embarrassing to deal with :(
